Viktor Kozlov

Viktor Nikolayevich Kozlov (Russian Виктор Николаевич Козлов; born February 14, 1975 in Togliatti, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who plays for the HK CSKA Moscow in the Kontinental Hockey League since January 2013. Koslow plays at the center position.

Career

Viktor Kozlov was drafted in the NHL Entry Draft in 1993 in the first round as the sixth player from the San Jose Sharks. After playing several seasons in San Jose, he moved on 12 November 1997 to the Florida Panthers. In Florida Kozlov spent, among other things with players like Pavel Bure his most successful period. In his best season 1999/2000 he reached 70 points scorer in 80 games. Kozlov played for the Florida Panthers by 1 March 2004, when he was transferred Devils in a swap deal with Christian Berglund and Victor Utschewatow to New Jersey.

He spent the lockout season in the Russian league at HK Lada Togliatti. When the NHL had taken up the game running again, Kozlov returned to New Jersey.

In June 2009, Koslow was awarded a contract term of three years with Salavat Yulaev Ufa Salavat With he won the 2011 Gagarin Cup, the championship trophy of the Kontinental Hockey League. After the expiration of his contract Koslow joined in May 2012 to Lokomotiv Yaroslavl.
