Dodgeball is a DVD that was released by the German band Rammstein on November 17, 2006. It shows the six musicians on their world tour in 2005, when they played a total of more than a million spectators. The occasion was the latest album by the band, Travel, Travel. Dodgeball appeared in three editions and was published on 18 September 2007 in the United States.

Versions

The "standard " version includes a DVD with 140 minutes live concert and a CD with 75 minutes of audio concert recordings.
The "Special Edition" also contains a DVD with two documentaries.
The "Limited Edition" includes as an extra, a 190 -page tour photo book and an additional audio CD ( a total of 105 minutes of audio concert recordings on two CDs). The four discs are doing on holders in the front inside cover of the book.

Bonus DVD

On the bonus DVD of the Special and Limited Edition are two documentaries.

The first documentation comes from Mathilde Bonnefoy and in addition to some excerpts of Nîmes - concert interviews with all six band members and manager Emanuel Fialik. The second documentary is by guitarist Paul Landers and gives a brief insight into the making of the album Reise, Reise.

On the CD included in the standard version and the "Special Edition" includes the following live recordings from the Arena of Nîmes (France):

On the two audio CDs of the "Limited Edition" is the outro as well as all live recordings of the concert, including the songs " brick by brick ", " Rammstein ", " Without You" and " Stripped".

The CD version of the album was honored in Germany for more than 300,000 copies sold with a 3 - times gold record. The DVD version received a double platinum award over 100,000 units sold. In Switzerland reached dodgeball already after five weeks gold status (15,000 albums sold ).

Background

The cover image of the publication is an adaptation of the logo of the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow.
The DVD was nominated ( national or international) at the Echo Awards 2007 in the category Music DVD production, but lost to Pink Floyd's Pulse.
