Zeri

Zeri is a municipality with 1166 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Massa -Carrara in Tuscany region of Italy.

Geography

The municipality covers 73 km ². It is located about 160 km northwest of Florence, about 60 km northwest of Massa and 53 km north- west of Carrara. It is the westernmost municipality of Tuscany and part of the ancient region of Lunigiana. The place is between the Magra Valley (Val di Magra ) and the Vara Valley (Val di Vara ).

The districts include Adelano, Antara, Bosco di Rossano, Bergugliara, Castello, codolo, Coloretta, Ferdana, Fichi, La Dolce, Noce, Paretola, Patigno, Rossano, Serralunga, Valditermine, Villaggio Villaggio Aracci and Passo del Rastrello.

The neighboring municipalities are Albareto (PR ), Mulazzo, Pontremoli, Rocchetta di Vara ( SP), Sesta Godano (SP) and Zignago (SP).
