Sesta Godano

Sesta Godano ( in Ligurian: sesta ) is a municipality with 1441 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the Italian region of Liguria. Politically it belongs to the province of La Spezia.

Geography

Sesta Godano is located on the north-eastern border of the province, on the right bank of the river Vara. The community land is mostly mountainous or vorgebirgig and crossed by small valleys. The latter open into the main valley, the Val di Vara.

The municipality belongs to the Comunità Montana dell'Alta Val di Vara and forms with its territory a part of the Natural Park of Monte Marcello Magra.
