2011 Royal Bank of Scotland Challenger

The First Republic Bank Tiburon Challenger 2011 was a tennis tournament, which until October 16, 2011 took place from 10 in Tiburon. It was part of the ATP Challenger Tour in 2011 and was held outdoors on hard court.

Winners in the individual was at position two seeded Ivo Karlović, defeating in the final of the three set Sam Querrey in three sets. It was Socks first career title. Tobias Kamke took defending champion this year will not participate in the tournament.

In doubles, the unseeded Carsten Ball and Chris Guccione were in the final against the wild-card owner S. Johnson and Sam Querrey, who thus in both competitions reached the final, victorious. This was the 16th career ball - and fourth win of the season at Challenger tournaments, Guccione for the eleventh career and third season title of the season in doubles. Last year's winner Robert Kendrick and Travis Rettenmaier both did not occur to defend their title.

The field of the individual competition consisted of 32 players, double that of the competition from 16 pairs. There were both in the individual event with 16 players and for the doubles competition with four doubles, a qualifying round, through which the individual four players in double could qualify a pairing for the main draw. Prior to the tournament, there was a injury-related cancellation. Denis Gremelmayr had to cancel his participation in the doubles competition due to illness after he was forced to retire in the individual competition in the first round in the second set already.
