14th Army (Wehrmacht)

The 14th Army / Army High Command 14 (AOK 14 ) was a major unit of the Army of the Wehrmacht during the Second World War. She was supreme command each alternating Army Corps as well as many special forces.

On 18 November 1943, the 14th Army was reorganized itself under General Eberhard von Mackensen and used for the defense of Italy in the area of ​​Army Group C. They surrendered on 2 May 1945 in the vicinity of the Alps under General of Panzer Troops Joachim Lemelsen.
