2009 NFL season
The NFL 2009 season is the 90th season of American Football in the National Football League ( NFL). The regular season began on 10 September 2009 and ended on January 3, 2010.

The season opening game, the " kickoff ", was held in Pittsburgh on September 10. Here, the defending champion Pittsburgh Steelers played against the AFC South rival Tennessee Titans.

Super Bowl XLIV
Super Bowl XLIV was the 44th edition of the Super Bowl and took place on 7 February 2010 at Dolphin Stadium held in Miami, Florida. In the final, the Indianapolis Colts faced the New Orleans Saints. The traded as the underdog Saints defeated the Colts with 31:17 and thus won their first Super Bowl.
