2012 IIHF Women's World Championship

The 14th Ice Hockey World Championships Women's International Ice Hockey Federation IIHF Ice Hockey World Championships were the 2012. A total of between 25 March and the April 15, 2012 32 teams in the five tournaments in the top division and the divisions I to part II.

Last year's participants Bulgaria, Ireland and Ireland Turkey Turkey withdrew their teams entered for the qualification to the group B of Division II back later. Top Division

The Women's World Championship was held in the U.S. city of Burlington, Vermont from 7 to 14 April 2012. It was played at Gutterson Fieldhouse ( 4,035 places) of the University of Vermont and in the Cairns Arena in South Burlington with 600 seats.
