Roman Empire
- February 23: Emperor Diocletian shall, after fifty years of tolerance edict for persecution of Christians in the Roman Empire. It forbids Christian worship services, orders the destruction of churches and detention Christian state officials and imposed the death penalty on all Christians who continued the imperial cult - the only prescribed in Rome religious act - deny. It comes to violent wave of persecution of Roman history.
