The motorway ( Rijksweg ) A38 begins northeast of the municipality of Ridderkerk and leads towards the south to the junction Ridderkerk where the highway crossed 15 and 16. The highway has a length of almost 1,500 meters, making it the shortest of the whole of the Netherlands. The A38 has no exits between their start and end at Knooppunt. Since this is more of a feeder acts as a highway, can also be found anywhere along the route signs indicating the designation A38. The name was given the highway only for administrative reasons.
