Alexej Jaskin

Alexei Jaškin (Russian Алексей Яшкин / Alexei Jaschkin; born July 27, 1965 in Krasnoyarsk, Russian SFSR ) is a former Czech- Russian ice hockey player, who was for many years the HC Vsetín under contract with this club won six league titles. Since 2005 he has been director of sport VHK Vsetín, as the club is called today. His son Dmitry Jaškin is also hockey players.

Career

Alexei Jaškin began his career at Sdjuschor Sokol Kransojarsk, before 1986 SKA Novosibirsk in the second division of the Soviet Union, the League Perwaja changed. In 1988 he played at Chimik Woskressensk in the class Wysschaja League remained loyal to this club until 1993.

During the season 1993/94 he moved to the newly founded League 1 for HC Vsetín with which he ascended into the Extraliga 1994. Over the next seven years Jaschkin won a total of six Czech championships with the club. In the season 1997/98 he reached with the HC Vsetín the semifinals of the European Hockey League in which the Czech team failed to eventual winners VEU Feldkirch.

Due to an injury he missed the entire 2001/ 02. After the season 2004 /05 he moved to the third division of the Czech Republic for HC Valašské Meziříčí and was simultaneously hokejová sports director of the Vsetínská, as called in HC Vsetín from 2003. In the playdowns the season 2005/ 06 he completed a final extra league game for the club.
