The Altamont Speedway, Altamont Motorsports Park also, Altamont Raceway, Altamont Raceway Park or Altamont Raceway Park and Arena was a motor racing track in Alameda County in Northern California, located between the towns of Tracy and Livermore. Distances to major cities in California are ( straight line ): in the west San Francisco, 76 km; in the southwest of San José, 54 km; in southeast Los Angeles, 489 km.

Named after the nearby Altamont Pass area was opened on 22 July 1966, consists of a number of different circuits to race events took place. The most famous of these events was most recently in 2008, the NASCAR Camping World West Series.

Gained notoriety the Altamont Speedway as venue of the Altamont Free Concert, in which a concertgoer was stabbed to death during a performance of the Rolling Stones in 1969.

In 2008, the Speedway was closed.
