Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course
The Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course is a racetrack in Morrow County, Ohio (USA). It is also near the village of Lexington.
History
The line was opened in 1962 with a length of 2.4 miles. In 1990, was rebuilt, in which the safety precautions have been enhanced and the chicane before the " Keyhole " was replaced by a straight. This 2.25 miles long version is used for all automotive events. For motorcycles, there is a shorter route with a turn by "Turn 1".
Over the years, was the CharmpCar series regular guest on the track until it was replaced by the Indy Racing League. The American Le Mans Series, Grand -Am and the U.S. Superbike Championship regularly make here Station.
