Andreas Farny began his career as a hockey player in the junior department of the Augsburger EV, for which he was active in the student league and youth league until 2008. During the season 2008/ 09 he moved to the ESV Kaufbeuren and played one and a half years for this in the youth league and youth league. Towards the end of the 2009/10 season the winger also came to four appearances for the first team of the ESV Kaufbeuren in the 2nd Hockey League. For the 2010/11 season the links Sagittarius returned to Augsburg back and played for both the original club Augsburger EV in the Junior League and for the first team Augsburger Panther in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga, where he stood for the Panthers in 4 DEL games on the ice.
In the season 2011/12 Farny increased to a total of 33 DEL inserts, in which he scored two goals. In parallel, he played for the junior league team of the AEV and equipped with a mining license for the EHC Klostersee from the third-tier ice hockey league. In the 2012/13 season Farny began again for the AEV in the Junior League and for the EHC Klostersee in the big leagues. In addition, he is still in the DEL squad Augsburger Panther.
