Bell Canada ( Enterprises) (BCE ) is a Canadian company based in Montreal, Quebec, offering telecommunications services. It is listed on the stock index S & P / TSX 60. Today, the company employs approximately 54,000 people.

History

In 1877, Alexander Graham Bell took over 75 % of the patents and rights of his father. Then Alexander Graham Bell decided with his best friend, the Reverend Thomas Henderson, to establish a telecommunications company in Canada. The company was one of the largest providers of Canada.

  • Bell Home Phone: Landline telephone connections and VoIP.
  • Bell Mobility: Bell Mobility operates a mobile phone network in all provinces.
  • Bell TV ( Bell ExpressVu ) offers satellite TV and pay TV with over 500 channels.
  • Bell Internet: provides DSL Internet access at a speed between 500 Kbit / s to 25 Mbit / s.
  • Bell Media: With Bell Media Bell Canada operates approximately 35 radio stations, and 50 television stations. Bell Media arose from the acquisition of CTV Globe Media.
