Belvedere Ostrense

Belvedere Ostrense ( in the local dialect: Bélvédé ) is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 2290 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Ancona in the Marche. The municipality is situated approximately 28 km west-southwest of Ancona.

History

The Castrum Belvideris was built in the 12th century and was used from the 13th century from the city of Jesi to control the duty between esino and Misa.
