Camerata Picena

Camerata Picena is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 2480 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Ancona in the Marche. The community is located about 13.5 km west- southwest of Ancona. The esino forms the western boundary of the municipality.

History

The first mention of the church goes back to a document from the from 1000 to 1010. 1309 it came to a battle between troops Jesi and Ancona. In the district cassero still is one of the castles of Ancona.

Traffic

Through the community's multi-lane carriageway Strada Statale 76 di Val d' esino and the Autostrada A14 leading from Bologna to southern Italy. However, a connection does not exist.
