Offagna
Offagna is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 1927 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Ancona in the Marche. The community is located about 15 kilometers southwest of Ancona.
Worth visiting is the medieval fortress ( Rocca Italian ).
Offagna carries the Orange Flag and was honored as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.
History
Offagna is presumably based on a foundation of settlers from the city of Osimo. After 1532 it belonged to the Papal States.
