Berit Aunli

Berit Kristine Aunli, born Kvello ( born June 9, 1956 in Stjørdal ) is a former Norwegian cross-country skier. She is married to Ove Aunli.

Aunli won her first medal at the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid, when she got with the Norwegian relay bronze. Her international breakthrough came at the 1982 World Cup in Oslo, where she was three gold medals (5 km, 10 km, relay ) win. She then won the election of Norway's Sportswoman of the Year. In addition, she won on the 20 - km - distance nor silver. At the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo, she won another Gold medal in the relay.

In the Cross Country World Cup Aunli won four races in 1982, she won the overall title. She received the 1982 Morgenbladet Gold Medal, 1983, the Holmenkollen medal. The member of the sports club Strindheim IL was also 15 times Norwegian Champion.
