Geographical location

Bieringen is located about seven kilometers southwest of Rottenburg and 14 kilometers east of Horb am Neckar in the Neckar valley on the orographic left side of the river. Opposite the center opens, coming from the south, the Starzel into the Neckar.

The district area of the village is 686 hectares. Of this amount, 52.9 % on agricultural land, 37.2% of forest area, 7.5% to settlement and traffic area, 1.2% of water and 0.6 % to the rest of the Terms.
