Hemmendorf is a district of Rottenburg am Neckar in the administrative district of Tübingen in Baden- Württemberg ( Germany ).

Geographical location

Hemmendorf is located approximately nine miles south of the main town on the Gäuhochfläche in 405-528 meters altitude. To the east of the settlement area is the 52 -hectare nature reserve Vollmer heap.

Expansion

Hemmendorf has a district area of 657 hectares, of which 58.8 % are used for agriculture and forestry 34.1%; the remainder is 9.7% on the settlement and traffic area, 0.5% of water and 0.7 % to the rest of the Terms.
