Oberndorf is a district of Rottenburg am Neckar in the administrative district of Tübingen in Baden- Württemberg ( Germany ).
Geography
Oberndorf is located approximately six kilometers north of Rottenburg, ten kilometers west of Tübingen and 14 kilometers southeast of Herrenberg on a flat elevation between Ammer and Neckar valley.

Chapel
In the forest above Oberndorf is a Lady Chapel. It was built in 1947 as a reaction to the fact that the village has just missed an air raid in World War II.

Upper village has 1,466 inhabitants (as of end of January 2008). With an area of 6.14 km ², this corresponds to a population density of 239 inhabitants per square kilometer.
