Bryce Lampman

Bryce Lampman ( born August 31, 1982 in Rochester, Minnesota ) is an American professional ice hockey player who was most recently with the SCL Tigers in the National League A under contract. His brother Josh was also a professional hockey player.

Career

Bryce Lampman began his career as a hockey player in the North American Junior League United States Hockey League in which he to 2001 Mustangs and the Omaha Lancers was active from 1998 to Rochester. With the latter he won in the 2000 /01 season the Clark Cup. He was then selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2001 in the fourth round as a total 113 players from the New York Rangers. First, however, he attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha, for their hockey team he participated in parallel on the game operation of the National Collegiate Athletic Association. The 2008/09 season with Amur Khabarovsk Lampman spent in the Kontinental Hockey League newly established. Due to numerous injuries, he stood for the Russians in only nine games in the KHL on the ice, where he remained no points and was awarded four penalty minutes. On 29 July 2009 the links Sagittarius signed a contract as a free agent with the St. Louis Blues, for their AHL farm team Peoria Rivermen he scored seven goals and 13 assists in the 2009/10 season in 54 games. After 21 games in Florida, where Lampman scored three goals and nine assists, he received a sample contract with the Portland Pirates of the AHL in January 2013. However, this contract was canceled after just eight games again. Then the defender again took an offer from Europe and signed a contract until the end of the season running the club SCL Tigers NLA in Switzerland. For the U.S., Lampman took part in the U20 World Youth Championship in 2002, where he finished fifth with his team. During the tournament, he remained no points in seven games and received eight penalty minutes.
