Budyně nad Ohří

Nad Ohri Budyně ( German Budin at the Eger) is a city in the Czech Republic. It is located 10 km west from Roudnice in 161 m asl on the right bank of the Eger and belongs to the Okres Litoměřice.

History

Based on archaeological excavations can be demonstrated that the Egerufer was inhabited at Budyně around 3000 BC. According to the chronicles of the present town was already in the 9th century and received its town charter in 1173.
