The Carnival Spirit (German spirit, soul, courage ) is the lead ship of the Spirit - class, a series of six Panamax cruise ships, which was developed for the American tourism company Carnival Corporation & plc. It was built at the shipyard Kvaerner Masa Yards AB in Helsinki.

Construction and commissioning

Machinery and drive
