Cliff Robertson
Cliff Robertson ( born September 9, 1923 as Clifford Parker Robertson III in La Jolla, California, † 10 September 2011 in Stony Brook, New York ) was an American actor.
Life
Robertson began his career as a film actor mid-1950s. He was considered an actor difficult characters, which was often occupied in leading roles, but without ever ascend to the ranks of the biggest stars in Hollywood. In 1968, he won an Oscar for best actor in the film adaptation of Daniel Keyes Charly. His last role was that of Uncle Ben in the Spider-Man trilogy. Robertson was with the actresses Cynthia Stone (1957-1960, one daughter ) and Dina Merrill (1966-1989, one daughter ( † 2007) ) married.
