David Mair (natural track luger and skeleton racer)

David Mair ( born July 26, 1980 in Meran ) is from Foiana (municipality Lana, South Tyrol) originating Italian natural track luge and skeleton former pilot. Career

Tobogganing

David Mair began his athletic career in tobogganing. With his three- year-older brother Armin he started in 1995, when he had reached the age limit, in international junior championships. Immediately on her first appearance at the Junior European Championships in 1995 in Fénis the Mair brothers won the gold medal in doubles. A year later they arrived at the Junior European Championships in 1996 in Szczyrk second place behind their compatriots Gerd Mittermair and Werner Töchterle.
