Christian Schatz

Christian Schatz ( born October 7, 1975 in Wolfsberg, Carinthia ) is an Austrian natural track luge. It starts in the World Cup together with Gerhard Muhlbacher in doubles and won five World Cup races so far with him and twice the overall World Cup. At the 2007 World Championships she won the World Cup in the team competition and third in doubles; In 2011 she finished second in the team competition. In European Championships she previously won two silver and two bronze medals.

Career

Treasure began in 1983 with the sport of luge, take part in competitions since 1984 and is a member since 2000 of the Austrian national team. In 1995 he competed in the Junior European Championships in Saint-Marcel/Fénis and achieved the 21th Place and in the single-seater with Christian Rumpf sixth place in the doubles. Two years later he took part in the European Championship 1997 in Moss pass in eggs, where he was together with Stefan Karner ninth in doubles.
