Dominik Hrbatý

Dominik Hrbatý ( born January 4, 1978 in Bratislava ) is a former Slovak tennis player.

Hrbatý won in his career six ATP tournaments (1998, San Marino, 1999 in Prague, in 2001 in Auckland and in 2004 in Auckland, Adelaide and Marseille) and also stood at six other tournaments in the final. His biggest success at a Grand Slam tournament, he reached in 1999 with the semi-finals at the French Open, where he lost to the eventual winner Andre Agassi in four sets. In his first season as a professional in 1996 he was voted the ATP Newcomer of the Year. November 22, 2010 Hrbatý announced his retirement from professional tennis. Nevertheless, he took in 2011 and 2012 to a total of four tournaments.

Hrbatý is next to Nikolay Davydenko is the only player who has against Rafael Nadal a positive match record. In the total of four meetings he could beat Nadal three times.
