Ellenhausen
Ellenhausen ( dialect: Elle House) is a municipality in the Westerwald district in Rhineland- Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality of seltzer (Westerwald ).
Geographical location
Ellenhausen is located 3 km southwest of seltzer (Westerwald ) on Saynbach amidst a vast forest and meadow land.
History
In 1100 Ellenhausen was first mentioned in records. The spelling of the name changed over the centuries from Elkinhusin after Helchinhusin to Ellenhausen.
