Vielbach
Vielbach ( dialect: Felwisch ) is a municipality in the Westerwald district in Rhineland- Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality of seltzer (Westerwald ).
Geographical location
Vielbach is three kilometers south of seltzer on the lower reaches of the small Saynbaches the middle of a forest and meadow land.
History
In 1315 Vielbach was first mentioned in records. The spelling of the name changed over the centuries from Ville creek after Vyllebach to Vielbach.
Parish council
The local council in Vielbach consists of twelve council members, who were elected at the municipal election held on 7 June 2009 by majority vote, and the honorary mayor as chairman.
