Emanuele Giaccherini (born 5 May 1985 in Talla) is an Italian football player.
He currently stands at AFC Sunderland under contract. Giaccherini midfielder and can be used as a winger on both the left and on the right side. He is regarded as dribbling and sprinter as well as a good Torvorbereiter.

Life
Emanuele Giaccherini comes from Talla in the province of Arezzo, from the age of 16, he grew up in Cesena. During adolescence, his spleen had to be removed after a clash with an opponent goalkeeper.
Giaccherini is married and has one daughter.
Career
AC Cesena
Emanuele Giaccherini moved in 2002 from Bibbiena to AC Cesena. For the 2004/ 05 season he was loaned to FC Forlì in the C2 series. In the following two seasons, he was on loan at AC Bellaria Igea Marina under contract. A lengthy injury forced him out there since then to find a job to make ends meet. In the 2007 /08 season, the midfielder played again on loan in Serie C2, this time at the AC Pavia, where he scored nine goals in 27 games and with it the descent just prevented in the relegation against Caravaggese in the D series.
For the 2008/09 season Giaccherini returned to Cesena in the Lega Pro Prima Divisione, when he found with Pierpaolo Bisoli a coach who sat on him. He enlisted as a regular player five goals for promotion to Serie B at. In the following season, he retained his place in Cesena and made with the club by second place behind the U.S. Lecce direct walkover in the Serie A perfect. His first of eight Series B hits this season, the winger scored 29 August 2009 at the Stadio Via del Mare in Lecce in a 2-0 win against Gallipoli Calcio.
In the season 2010/11 Giaccherini brought good performance and scored seven goals in 36 games. On 28 August 2010, he was 0-0 in the Roman Olympic Stadium against AS Roma made his debut in Italy's top flight. His first goal in the Serie A, he scored on 11 September 2010 on the 2-0 win against AC Milan. On March 6, 2011 he succeeded his first brace in the 3-2 win at Sampdoria within two minutes in Serie A.
Juventus
On 25 August 2011, the Italian giants Juventus bought for three million euros 50% of his transfer rights and signed him so. Also under new coach Antonio Conte, whose preference with three or even four peaks accommodates Giaccherinis play for a game system, the midfielder put more and more. On September 11, 2011, he was in a 4-1 win against FC Parma his debut for Juventus. On January 21, 2012 in a 2-0 win against Atalanta Bergamo he scored his first Serie A goal for the team. On June 19, 2012 Juve bought 100 % of the transfer rights. In addition Giaccherini signed a new three-year contract until 30 June 2015.

In July 2013 undertook the English top-flight club Sunderland AFC Giaccherini.
National
Italy coach Cesare Prandelli called him into the 23- man squad of the national team for the European Football Championship in 2012. His international debut was Giaccherini in the first group match against Spain, which ended in a 1-1 draw. He was in the starting lineup and played 90 minutes.
