Evgenia Shishkova

Yevgeniya Wassiljewna Schischkowa (Russian Евгения Васильевна Шишкова; born December 18, 1972 in Leningrad) is a former Russian figure skater, which was launched in pair skating.

Schischkowas figure skating partner was Vadim Naumov. They were trained by Lyudmila Welikowa. 1991 Schischkowa and Naumov Soviet masters and denied their first World Cup and European Championship. At the European Championships she won the bronze medal at once, which they won well at the European Championships in 1992, 1993 and 1995. In 1994, she was Vice-European Champion. In the period 1991-1996 Schischkowa and Naumov participated in the World Championships. In 1993 she won the bronze medal and 1995 silver medal. They celebrated their biggest success in 1994 when they became world champions in Chiba. The pair played two Olympic Games. In Albertville in 1992 they finished in fifth place and 1994 in Lillehammer they were fourth.

After Schischkowa / Naumov had not been taken into account for the Olympic Games in 1998, they withdrew from the amateur sport and went to the pros. There they were world champions in the same year.

Schischkowa and Naumov are married and have a son who was born in 2001. You work as a trainer in Simsbury, Connecticut.
