Heyuan

Heyuan (河源 市) is a prefecture-level city in Guangdong Province in southeastern China. It has an area of ​​15,478 km ² and approximately 3.32 million inhabitants ( 2002). In the circle Dongyuan Heyuan City is the community of Zhangxi She (漳 溪 畲族乡).

Located in Heyuan Guifeng Pagoda ( Guifeng ta ,龟峰 塔) is since 2006 on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China ( 6-680 ).

Administrative Divisions

• Circle Longchuan (龙川 县), 3088 km ², approximately 860,000 inhabitants;
• Circle Lianping (连平县), 2025 km ², 370,000 inhabitants;
• Heping District (和平 县), 2311 km ², 480,000 inhabitants;
• Dongyuan county (东源县), 4070 km ², approximately 510,000 inhabitants.
