Hoofddorp train station is the second station in the Dutch city of Hoofddorp. The station is used by approximately 20,000 people a day ( 2011). He is a central node and endpoint in urban public transport. At the station provides regional context.

History

The current station was opened on 31 May 1981 the railway line Weesp - Leiden. The station was completely renovated in 1996 and took its present form until 1996, the station had only two tracks, after the enlargement of four.
