Coat of arms
The root of Arms of Noblemen to the lip shows since about 1222 golden inseminated red five-petalled rose on a silver background. On the helmet with red and silver covers the same character occurs as a crest, short-stalked, either directly with the leaves on the helmet or sessile. This crest was unchanged since about 1240 to about 1450, then stepped under Simon, Lord of Lippe, 1455, a silver, later red, and silver - red flight time.
The fact that the ( speaking ) Pedigree Rosenberg badge is shaped like that of the noblemen to the lip, suggests no actual relationship.
