Hubert Gorbach

Hubert Gorbach ( born July 27, 1956 in Frastanz, Vorarlberg, Austria) was an Austrian Vice-Chancellor ( FPÖ first, then AAF ) and Federal Minister for Transport, Innovation and Technology in the Federal Government Bowl II

Political career

He completed his schooling at a commercial college graduation in 1977 in Feldkirch. Professionally, he served as Export Manager, Managing Director and board member in a company, politically as federal chairman of the ring Libertarian Youth, district party leader and deputy federal party leader of the Freedom Party. Prior to the occupation of Hainburg wetlands Gorbach 1984 was one of the participants of the press conference of the animals and entered as a " Bluethroat " on. From 1989 to 1993 he represented the Freedom Party as a deputy in the Vorarlberg Landtag. Entry into federal politics

From February 28 2003 to January 11, 2007 Gorbach was Federal Minister for Transport, Innovation and Technology, from 21 October 2003, he also held the post of Vice Chancellor, in which he replaced Herbert Haupt. Following the disastrous defeats of the AAF in regional elections in Styria and Vienna, he took over the executive presidency of the party.

Career transition

After retiring from politics, he transferred to the private sector as a manager of the group of companies of the tourism entrepreneur Walter Klaus. After only four months, he left the company and then founded his own consulting company Gorbach Consulting, with whom he cared for infrastructure projects in Russia and Belarus, among others. Since 2009, Gorbach is also President of the Schneiakademie, a continuing education provider for snowmaking technology.
