Igor Musatov

Igor Maximowitsch Musatov (Russian Игорь Максимович Мусатов; born September 23, 1987 in Moscow, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player standing since November 2013 in Lokomotiv Yaroslavl in the Kontinental Hockey League contract.

Career

Igor Musatov began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior department of the HK Spartak Moscow, for its first team he was active from 2004 to 2006 in the Super League. Subsequently, the winger also played two years for its league rivals Ak Bars Kazan, before during the season 2008/ 09 for Neftjanik Leninogorsk from the Wysschaja League, the second Russian league, and Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk of the newly formed Kontinental Hockey League on the ice stood.

In the summer of 2009 Musatov returned to his hometown club Spartak Moscow, for which he ran aground in the following one and a half seasons, before he received a contract with its competitors Atlant Mytischtschi in December 2010. There Mussatov played until the end of season 2011/12 and was then without a club. It was not until the end of September 2012, he was taken from Salavat Yulaev Ufa under contract.

In November 2013 he was released as part of a ring is replaced, at which Nikita Schtschitow and Maxim Trunjow were also involved, to Lokomotiv Yaroslavl.

Internationally

For Russia Musatov took part in the U20 Junior World Cup 2007, when he became vice world champion with his team. For this success he contributed one goal in six games.
