Igor Radulov

Igor Radulov (Russian Игорь Валерьевич Радулов; born August 23, 1982 in Nizhny Tagil, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who is since May 2013 in Atlant Mytischtschi in the Kontinental Hockey League contract. He is the older brother of Alexander Radulow.

Career

Igor Radulow began his career in 1998 at the second team of the Torpedo Yaroslavl. NHL Entry Draft 2000, the Chicago Blackhawks had selected him in the third round at the 74th position for which he completed 43 games. Since the Russians could not meet the expectations, he was sent to the Norfolk Admirals in the American Hockey League. During the 2004/05 season, the striker returned to Russia and was obliged by HK Spartak Moscow. In the season 2006/ 07 he stood for Metallurg Novokuznetsk, the HK Dmitrov and Vityaz Chekhov on the ice. In the latter club he remained until January 2009, before Radulow was taken from Salavat Yulaev Ufa under contract. With Ufa, he retired in the first playoff round against the HK Avangard Omsk after his club had won the Bobrow Diwision.

Between May 2009 and May 2010, he stood at HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk under contract by which he won the Tschernyschow Diwision and in the playoff quarterfinals with 2:4 at Ak Bars Kazan failed. For the 2010/11 season he joined Severstal Cherepovets before Radulow returned in January 2011 to Vityaz Chekhov. For this, the attacker played eight KHL games and scored one goal before the Russians in June 2011 signed a contract for two years with Salavat Yulaev Ufa. A year later, his contract was terminated and Radulow moved to HK CSKA Moscow, where he played with his brother and in 58 games this season scored 34 points scorer. End of May 2013 he received a contract with Atlant Mytischtschi.
