Ján Novota

Ján Novota ( born November 29, 1983 in Matúškovo ) is a Slovak football player. He is a goalkeeper for SK Rapid Wien.

Career

Novota began his career at Slovak smaller clubs. In 2005 he moved to the Slovakian first division FC Senec, in which two years later he celebrated his Erstligadebüt. After the merger in 2008 with the DAC Dunajská Streda he played there for two years. Summer of 2010, he joined the Greek first division club Panserraikos, but returned after half a year back. July 2011, the Slovak was free transfer committed by the Austrian record champions SK Rapid Wien.
