Kõue Parish
Koue (formerly Kou, dt Kau ) is a rural municipality in Harju County Estonia with an area of 295.5 km ². It has 1589 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2010).
In addition to the main town Ardu to the municipality includes the villages Äksi, Aela, Alansi, Habaiah, Harmi, Kadja, Kantküla, Katsina, Kirivalla, Kiruvere, Kukepala, Kõrvenurga, Koue, Laane, Leistu, Lutsu, Lööra, Marguse, Nutu, Nõmmeri, Ojasoo, Pala, Paunaste, Paunküla, Puusepa, Rava, Riidamäe, Roosa, Saarnakõrve, Sae, Sääsküla, Silmsi, Triigi, Uueveski, Vahetüki, Vanamõisa and Virla.
In the manor of Triigi ( first mentioned in 1379 ) spent the explorer and adventurer Otto von Kotzebue his last years. Further worth the estates of Koue and Paunküla with his 5.45 -acre park are (now retirement home ).
