Krabčice

Krabčice ( German Krabschitz ) is a municipality with 904 ( 28 August 2006) inhabitants in the region Usti nad Labem Region, Czech Republic.

Location

The place is located southeast of the city Roudnice at the foot of the legendary Mount Rip.

History

1226, the village was first mentioned in writing. 1273, the village belonged to the monastery in Doksany. In the last third of the 16th century Wilhelm von Rosenberg bought the village. Owned by the Rosenberger Krabčice remained until the early 19th century.

The municipality consists of the villages Krabčice Krabčice ( Krabschitz ) Rovné ( Rowney ) and Vesce ( Wesetz ), at the same time also form Katastralbezirke.
