La Figurita

Figurita, also La Figurita, a neighborhood is ( barrio ) of the Uruguayan capital, Montevideo.

Location and geography

It is located north of the city center, in the north central part of the department of Montevideo. Figurita borders it to the south by La Comercial and Villa Muñoz - Retiro. To the west lie the districts of Reducto and Atahualpa, while connecting the north and east Brazo Oriental Jacinto Vera.

Is Included the center of the district, starting from the southwest clockwise from the formed by the following streets Border line: Avenida General Flores, Avenida General Garibaldi, Marsella, Enrique Martinez, Carabelas, Bulevar Artigas, Lorenzo Fernandez, Avenida General Flores, Dr. Luis Melina Lafinur, Lorenzo Fernandez, Caraguta, Juan Paullier, Itapebi, Dr. Joaquin Requena, Colorado, Cufre, Isla de Gorriti and Concepcion Arenal.
