Buceo

Buceo is a neighborhood ( barrio ) of the Uruguayan capital, Montevideo.

Location

It is located southeast of the city on the coast of the Río de la Plata. To the west is bordered to the Buceo and Parque Batlle Pocitos neighborhoods, to the north lie Unión and Malvín Norte, while in the east Malvín continues the urban area.

The boundaries of the district to the west by the Avenida Luis Alberto de Herrera, Calle Marco Bruto, a small section of the Avenida General Fructuoso Rivera and Calle Demostenes and Julio Cesar. In the north, Avenida Italia runs through the district. The division to neighboring barrios done here including through the Rambla Euskalerria, Calle Barroso and Minnesota.
