La Paloma (Montevideo)

La Paloma, La Paloma also - Tomkinson, a neighborhood is ( barrio ) of the Uruguayan capital, Montevideo.

Location and geography

It is located northwest of the city center in the central south-west of the department of Montevideo. La Paloma borders it to the south by Villa del Cerro. To the west lies the district Casabo - Pajas Blancas, while connecting the north and northeast of Paso de la Arena Nuevo París. In the east continues Tres Ombúes Pueblo Victoria the urban area. The eastern parts of the city separates from the running here Arroyo Pantanoso.
