Laval Saints

The Saints de Laval was a Canadian ice hockey team from Laval, Quebec. The team played in the season 1969/70 in one of the three highest Canadian Junior Hockey League, the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League ( QMJHL ).

History

The Saints de Laval was founded in 1967 and first played each a year in the Quebec Junior Hockey League, as well as the Metropolitan Montreal Junior Hockey League, before they recorded for the season 1969/70 as one of eleven founding members in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. The first season of the QMJHL they finished in fifth and last place thus the West Division and thus missed the playoffs. In 56 games of the regular season the Canadians only reach 18 wins. After only one year in the QMJHL and a total of three years, the franchise was disbanded in 1970.
