Liesbet Van Breedam

Liesbet Van Breedam ( born January 27, 1979 in Willebroek ) is a former Belgian volleyball and beach volleyball player.

Career

2001 and 2002, played their first international Van Breedam Beach Kristien Van Lierop tournaments. At the European Championships in 2002, the duo dropped out after two defeats against the Latvian duo Minusa / Pulina and the Norwegians Glesnes / Maaseide. 2003 reached Van Breedam on the side of Liesbet Vindevoghel front places.

In 2006, she formed a new duo with Liesbeth Mouha. At the European Championships in 2006, the Belgians had initially in three sentences later victors Schirjajewa / Urjadowa from Russia defeated. Then they defeated the German duo Eckl / Kaup, before they were eliminated against their compatriots Pohl / Rau. The 2007 World Cup was over for them after the first round. In addition Mouha / Van Breedam 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2010 four times the national Belgian championship won. Their shared career ended in 2010, as Van Breedam paused because of a pregnancy. The year was previously run already because of several violations of both players ( Mouhas abdominal muscles and Van Breedams shoulder) problematic.

As indoor volleyball player she was active among others in the Belgian first division Asterix Kieldrecht and French Albi. With Kieldrecht she played in 2004 at the Top Teams Cup.
