The father of a clown (English title: Like Father, Like Clown ) is the sixth episode of the third season of the series The Simpsons. Jackie Mason won performance at the Emmy Awards 1992 in the category of voice-over.
Action
Krusty the Clown solves an old promise and attended Simpson family for dinner. When the guest is prompted to say the prayer of thanks, issued Krusty a Jewish blessing. When asked about his background tells Krusty, his father Hyman Krustofski, the rabbi is, had failed him because he will refuse to clown his son's career. The lawsuit, " ... if he were at least jazz singer " is a reference to the movie The Jazz Singer (1927 ).
Bart and Lisa make Krusty's father found and try him with references to passages from the Talmud and the Bible (Ex. 20:12) ( Jos 1:8) retune. The deciding factor is ultimately a quotation from the autobiography of Sammy Davis Jr. Yes I Can (1965). During a live broadcast of his son Rabbi Krustofsky dive, and at the end of the episode Krusty sings " O my papa ," a paean to a circus clown with his father.
