Lilly Scholz

Lilly Scholz, married. Gaillard (* April 18, 1903, † unknown) was an Austrian figure skater, which was launched in pair skating.

Scholz joined the pair of running first on the side of Otto Kaiser. They were in Vienna in 1924 for the first time Austrian champion. In the years 1927-1929 they won the national title again.

From 1925 to 1929, Scholz and emperors took part in the World Championships. They always reached the podium. In 1925, she won the bronze medal in 1926, 1927 and 1928 they were runner-up and 1929 in Budapest, finally world champions. Their main competitors were their compatriots Herma Szabo and Ludwig Wrede and the French Andrée Joly and Pierre Brunet. At the 1928 Olympics in St. Moritz Scholz and Kaiser won the silver medal behind Joly and Brunet.

After their wedding, Scholz joined in 1931 under the name Gaillard with Willy Petter. The two were in 1931 and 1932 Austrian champion. They won the bronze medal at the European Championships in 1931 and in 1932 and 1933 Vice European Champion. In their only world championship is they missed the fourth place in 1931 a medal.
