List of bridges to the Island of Montreal

The Canadian metropolis of Montreal is located on the Île de Montréal, the largest island in the Hochelaga Archipelago. This is from the St. Lawrence River, the Rivière des Prairies, the Lac des Deux Montagnes, Lac Saint- Louis and the Ottawa River surrounded. Although the city was founded in 1642, there was the first firm connection until 1847, when a wooden bridge over the Rivière des Prairies was built to the neighboring island Île Jésus. The first connection to the mainland followed in 1854 with a railroad bridge at Sainte -Anne- de -Bellevue on the Ottawa River. As of 1860 stood with the Pont Victoria the first connection to the south shore of the St. Lawrence River are available.

This list of bridges and other crossings to the Île de Montréal is ordered counterclockwise. It starts at the Lac Saint- Louis, the St. Lawrence River follows downstream, then the Rivière des Prairies upstream to the Lac des Deux Montagnes and back across the Ottawa River to Lac Saint- Louis. There the model years of existing buildings are shown, as are the model years of the original buildings, if the existing building replaced an older one.
